Jarra is pleased to announce a major milestone in the delivery of Jarra Investment Trust Twenty Eight, with the first two Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) homes in Belmont now reaching practical completion. Both villas have achieved full compliance certification, are enrolled with the NDIA, and will be leased to Identitywa, providing long‑term, high‑quality accommodation for people with disability.
These homes are the first to be delivered within an SDA portfolio of 16 homes, spanning 8 Perth metropolitan suburbs, designed in partnership with Identitywa to meet the needs of individuals with SDA funding under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Once complete, the portfolio will provide contemporary, accessible housing for up to 48 residents currently supported by Identitywa.
Construction is progressing across the remaining sites in Palmyra, Yokine, Girrawheen, Wembley, Queens Park, Spearwood and Eden Hill, with each home designed to meet or exceed SDA design standards. Features include accessible layouts, assistive technology, and robust construction materials to ensure safety, comfort, and long‑term durability.
Stefan Piruk, Jarra’s Development Director, noted that delivering the first two homes in the portfolio is a big milestone for the Fund, and an important step toward delivering all 16 homes to support improved housing options for people with disability across WA.
Mike Cameron, Jarra’s Commercial Director, highlighted the strong investor interest in socially impactful projects, with the Fund fully subscribed under a long‑term lease structure with Identitywa.
