Jarra‘s Development Director, Stefan Piruk, was recently invited to participate in a panel discussion at the 2nd Childcare and Early Learning Real Estate Summit in Sydney.
With the discussion topic, ‘Understanding the Complexities of Childcare Property Development to Build Better Centres’, the panel was facilitated by Vanessa Rader, Head of Research at Ray White.
The 2nd Childcare & Early Learning Real Estate Summit brought together childcare operators, developers, investors, architects, policymakers and tech leaders for a series of grounded, honest conversations about what it’s really going to take to deliver the next generation of centres. From demographic shifts and universal access targets, to design risks, planning hurdles and capital flows, the two day event covered a wide range of discussion points related to the industry.
Jarra’s expertise in the childcare sector gained recognition from event organisers through an invitation to be part of the conversation. The investment strategy for Jarra’s new investment Fund, Jarra Childcare Trust, is informed by Jarra’s strong track record in the sector. Having delivered more than 20 childcare centres nationally, our experience extends beyond development and in to childcare operations, having successfully rolled out a similar hybrid investment strategy over 6 years prior to establishing the fund.
